WE REALLY WERE HAPPY HAVING CHOSEN THIS HOTEL FOR 5 NIGHTS! Here is why: 1) the location is good, a little bit out of the way but still not too far from the center and very close to Darling Harbour. 2) The staff was very helpful; we got our room earlier than the regular check-in time and the staff helped us to make calls and to get taxis. 3) The building itself is wonderful. It is a historical property linked to the Australian wool industry and the design is very different to the usual square boxes. 4) The apartment was big with a double bed, TV with many channels, everything needed in the kitchen, a table with two chairs, an armoire, good WI-FI and a cute balcony. 5) The hotel has an indoor pool, elevators, and a decent lobby 6) The whole place is clean; the rooms are a little bit dated but nothing major. 7) The price gives an excellent value for everything you get. 8) This is a busy place but yet it was very quiet once we got into our room. 9) The apartment has a washer and dryer in the bathroom with laundry soap provided which is very practical. 10) The hotel and the surrounding area felt very safe.

great value for price, really comfortable and spacious. apartment was clean and fitted with modern amenities (good shower pressure, new kitchen appliances, nice big tv with fairly straightforward streaming) location is pretty good too, and staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Location was incredible!!!!! Literally next door to two coffee shops and around the corner from a grocery store, and surrounded by restaurants plus super close to the amazing darling Harbour. Close to all kinds of public transport and you can see the Saturday night fireworks outside of the hotel windows. Perfect location. On top of the location we loved having the apartment style living with the kitchen and washer and dryer. It came with all the things we could need and the staff was so kind and went above and beyond helping when we didn’t have what we needed. We also loved the pool and hot tub and the hours for that were incredible too. Seriously I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

location was excellent for my needs. the room was very nice, clean, in good order and neat - had everything I needed. the bed was just right - lovely and big for me. Loved the Breakfast box that I pre-ordered. very good idea. it would be even better if one could order extras to add to the box like butter/spread, bread etc. also appreciated that there was a variety of basic housekeeping items that one could ask for and use free of charge. Loved the historic building and conversion. housekeeping staff were very helpful and prompt as was reception. The masseuse in outside corridor was fantastic.

City view and good size of our accommodation for a family of 5 (3 teens). Continuous traffic and city sounds in the background - it didn't bother us. Also there was a proper working kitchen. We enjoyed the pool and gym. Good location in Darling Harbour, also easy to take the ferry to other parts of the city. Friendly staff who helped us with luggage storage. Also good wifi and tv, very important for our family, also during the rainy days in Sydney.

This is an old property in a good location. The staff were amazing and could not be more helpful. Although the room is dated it was spotless and clean. The beds were comfy and the location is quiet. The room is cleaned daily with fresh towels. The gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi were fabulous. On a previous review I had read that the walk through the car park was a chore. However, this was not the case. Yes you walk through a car park to get to the light rail service but across the road from the light rail opens itself up to the amazing Darling Harbour literally a 2 minute walk. We loved our time staying here.

The service apartment building was close to the lightrail station Convention Centre and many of Sydney attractions. There is a link bridge from the 2nd story of the building to a secure multistory car park that provides a pathway to the lightrail station. About a 5-10 minutes walk. From the lightrail station, it is fairly easy to go to all the major attractions in the city as well as Darling Harbour. Darling Harbour is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Oaks. This is where you can find IMAX Sydney, Madame Tussards, Sealife Sydney Aquarium, al fresco cafes and eateries to enjoy the views of the harbour. Within the vicinity of the Oaks, there are Japanese, Italian eateries and cafes too. All within walking distance, there is not much hassles getting food and drinks. If you drive, there is a multistory secure parking car park behind the apartments. From the 2nd story, there is also a path to the secure parking facility. You can get a good daily rate for a car park lot from the apartment front desk. Within the apartment, the service crew did a good job keeping it clean and fully stocked with daily essentials like detergents, toilet rolls. The amenities in the apartment like washer and dryer worked really well. It really feels like a home.

Location is superb. Literally cross the street using an elevated pathway to bring you to the light rail station and the convention center. The general ambiance was old industrial meets modern. Think steel, large beams of wood but with modern touches. Rooms were sufficient and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dining paraphernalia, if you feel like cooking and eating in. The 3rd toilet was a welcome surprise. Front desk Anish and another person were the only ones who were welcoming. The others didn't bother looking up to greet you as you entered the lobby. The apartment is ideal for a family of 4 or 5 as there was ample space in the entire apartment.

Great size studio apartment, comfortable bed, full kitchen facilities, good location with short walk to access light rail and then be able to get train from Central to Olympic Park. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
